Senior Night Details 

Hello Senior Parents!

 We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our seniors at Senior Night on Thursday September 17th, at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex. Below is important information: 

Tickets: 

All family attendees will need an entry ticket Ticket Link.  Please buy tickets before the game. Pre-game tickets for varsity football games go on sale at 8 am the Monday before the game. However, we do not want accessing tickets to be a barrier to participating in this event. If your family would benefit from sponsorship please reach out to me by responding to this email or Mark Tater (president@westwoodfootballatx.org), or Coach Ward for assistance. We do not want anyone missing out on this important event.

Although you can buy tickets at the gate, we strongly recommend buying tickets BEFORE arriving. Plan to arrive at the North entry gate at 5:45pm. We need families lined up on the field as quickly as possible when the gates open at 6pm. We have an unusually large student group this year which means, Senior presentations will begin promptly at 6:10 p.m.

A few of you have reached out on field accessibility. Should you have a need for ramp or stairless entry to the field- please look for the orange flag South of the field entry point. You will be able to enter there and make your way to the 30 yard line. Please let me know if you have any further questions as we are happy to accomodate however we can! 

Please note that the clear bag policy remains in effect. 

Schedule:

5:45pm: Arrive, buy tickets (if you haven’t already), and get through the security gate when it opens at 6:00 pm. You will proceed up the ramp on the home side toward the opposite 30-yard line. Enter the field in that area - a volunteer will direct you.

6:00pm: Lineup on the field on the “Home” sideline in this order:  

• Football players, by jersey number

• Trainers, alphabetical by last name

• Filmers, alphabetical by last name

• Cheerleaders, alphabetical by last name

6:10pm: Announcements BEGIN (We'll need to confirm this time with Coach Ward, David Hall but it'll be close to 6:10 in order to be finished by 6:38)

It’s going to be fast paced when we start, and we need everyone lined up and ready to go.   Remember, families will line up in numerical order based on their player’s number.  The trainers, filmers and cheerleaders will line up in alphabetical order.  A volunteer will help with this process. Please see the blue comments above if anyone in your party will need wheelchair (or similar) accessibility.

The Booster Club is covering the cost of the family photos in front of the tunnel as a gift to our senior families!! The family photo will be provided to you at no charge, and hopefully will be available for download the same night - possibly even during the game. Given this, the photographer asks that no one else in the area is trying to capture that same photo at the same time that he is, to prevent the problem of people looking at different cameras/phones and to help keep things moving quickly.
